From darkness to light: a night to remember

Last November 2nd, the five Amigos restaurants in Malaga were filled with magic, aromas and emotions to celebrate a very special night: a fusion between Diwali and the Day of the Dead. Two traditions that, although born in different places, share the same essence: Remember those we love and celebrate the light that still lives on in each of us.

We decorated our spaces with flowers, oil lamps, and Day of the Dead garlands, creating an atmosphere full of color, warmth, and meaning. In the center, a The altar, full of life and memory, invited us to stop for a moment and pay homage to those who are no longer here, but continue to be part of our history.

At the table, the fusion also came to life with two dishes created especially for the occasion: an aromatic curry and a selection of tacos that combined flavors from India and Mexico. We accompanied the evening with two unique cocktails., inspired by light, memory and celebration.

As a symbolic gesture, we gave each person two incense sticks from Templo Stores to light at home and dedicate a thought to a loved one. A small detail to continue the ceremony beyond our doors.

It was a night that reminded us why we do what we do: creating places where food unites, memory embraces, and light always finds its way.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who joined us and to the wonderful team that made it possible.
Once again, together, we went from darkness to light.
